Daniel was a young man who faced some emotional challenges and he found peace visiting the Conservatory’s live butterfly exhibit and spending time with the butterflies in the enclosed tent. A neighbor made a memorial gift in Daniel’s memory and hoped it would help Daniel’s grieving grandfather cope with his loss when Daniel passed in 2019.
The Conservatory has hosted a live butterfly exhibit since 2003 and will celebrate our 20th exhibit in 2023. We are glad Daniel found joy in his visits with the butterflies and hope others may find similar peace and inspiration in the exhibit.
