Bonnie grew up near Fox Island County Park and loved to wander its woods and fields with her brother and sister. She kept a garden and enjoyed spending time in natural areas.

For the Conservatory, Bonnie worked as receptionist, gift shop cashier, and a friendly helper at many special events. She often worked Conservatory special events, helping children at the activity tables and taking delight in the joy on their faces as the children created a unique craft to take home with them.

As a professional, Bonnie worked at General Electric as a rate setter for over 43 years and was a member of the ELEX Club and Quarter Century Club.

She donated several thousand dollars to the establishment of a children’s garden or natural area in our Exploration Garden. The Conservatory has exciting plans to establish a natural area with a children’s feature in the near future.
