Procedure:

Prior to the construction or replacement of an onsite sewage system, the Department of Health requires the submittal of plans for review and approval along with a completed application and associated fees. Once approved, the construction/replacement may take place. Inspections occur upon request, prior to digging on the absorption field and as needed during construction. A final inspection is required prior to the use of the system.
